Michael and his family moved to Cartersville in 2005 for the purpose of starting a new church that would lead people from where they are to where God wanted them to be. Oak Leaf Church began in 2006 when 280 people showed up at Carmike Cinemas for the Grand Opening service. That grand opening service was the beginning of a movement.
In 2007, we moved to Woodland High School, where we met in the Performing Arts Center. We then moved back to the movie theater, where we grew to four services.
In May of 2009, we moved into the renovated House of Rock nightclub, where we currently have four weekend services. Saturday at 5:00 or 6:30 PM or Sunday morning at 10:00 or 11:30 AM. Oak Leaf Kids is open during each service, so your children will have a great time while you attend the service.
Oak Leaf Church continues to focus on leading people from where they are to where God wants them to be.
