Last year, during the HOPE campaign, we announced several strategic initiatives for our church in 2010. I’m excited that one of the biggest ones is about to happen…we’re getting set to launch our second campus in Canton. Beginning August 22 we will have weekly services at the Riverstone Cinemas off Riverstone Parkway in Canton.
The Canton Campus is a church-wide project, meaning that every staff member, volunteer and regular attender will have an important part to play. Even if you’re not going to worship with us in Canton…we need your help. Here’s six ways you can get involved.
1. Be one of 100 people who attend the three preview services on June 27, July 18, and August 8. Even though you may attend in Cartersville, will you attend in Canton on these three days?
2. Be one of 100 missionaries who commit to attend the first ten weeks of services beginning August 22. Attending for ten weeks in a row will help us a build a buzz and help create the best environment for reaching people in Canton.
3. Purchase something from the gift registry at Target or Babies-R-Us to help stock the kids areas.
4. Join us in a ten day “Daniel Fast” beginning August 11. During a Daniel Fast, you’ll go without some food in order to pray and focus on God.
5. Help us put out door hangers on June 12, July 10, August 14 and/or August 21. Meet at the House of Rock at 9 and we’ll caravan to Canton.
6. Pray for favor and tell your friends.
