Five quick updates for you…

1.  I’m playing golf for the first time in a long time today.  It’s 23 degrees outside right now.

2. Talked to several church planters yesterday…love hanging out with and encouraging church planters.  It’s one of the reasons I started doing some coaching.

3.  Speaking of coaching, I’m honored that the network has gotten such great feedback.  It’s really a testament to all of the great leaders at Oak Leaf Church.  The next network is starting in March.

4.  Speaking of Oak Leaf Church, we’re continuing The Jesus series this weekend as we talk about John the Baptist.  Jesus himself said that John was the greatest person to ever live.  That’s pretty high marks for a dude who ate locusts.

5.  Got our staff Christmas party tonight and we’re headed to Chattanooga.  I’m proud to serve with some great people and we’re looking forward to some fun times tonight.

Hope you have a great weekend!
