I’m teaching a 4-week course called Theology 101 at the upcoming semester of Oak Leaf University. The idea is to dive a little deeper into a topic that we hit on the weekends. The classes are designed to be a little more informational…think college.  We’ll meet on Tuesday nights from 6-8pm (with a break in the middle so you can hang out and get drinks from The Coffee Bar), and childcare is included with your registration.

Here’s chapter one of student book that I’m putting together to let you know what the class will be like. You can register here.

Excellent syllabus.

Keep it coming.

This looks great. We ended up choosing another class, but I really hope you offer this one again in the future!

i’ll probably teach it again in september or october.

I think Jonah should be a historical book.
I don’t take notes.

jonah was a prophet. considered a minor prophet. and i think he’s still mad about it.

Some of the historical books have prophets in them, and even though Jonah does prophesy in the book of Jonah, the prophesy only takes up 2 verses in the entire book. I wrote my dissertation on this subject.
