Friday Five

It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these, but here’s five reasons that I am excited about this weekend.

1. We’re dropping 10,000 eggs out of a helicopter on Saturday. 11am @ Dellinger Park. There will be another 8,000 eggs already hidden on the field.  It should be tons of fun for the community of Cartersville.

2. Three services on Sunday @ Oak Leaf Church. 9am, 10:15am, and 11:30am. Three amazing opportunities to invite people. I’ve invited several people, including my “one.” I am praying for 1,000 people to attend on Sunday.

3. Today is kite day at Lauren’s school, so I’m going up there to help her and her class fly kites.

4. I’m talking about tattoos on Sunday morning, which probably isn’t your typical Easter message. Rumor has it that someone will be getting a tattoo on stage during church on Sunday.

5. I have a really sweet shirt that I bought for Easter Sunday, and I will be sure to embarrass the rest of the staff with how cool I look and how lame they look. Nathan may think he has style, but he just can’t compete with me.
